Yes, vom Himmelbogen Deutsch Drahthaars are meant to be family dogs as well. This does not mean they are soft or something ‘has been lost’ within the breed.
A quick heads up that all dogs regardless of breed should be well trained, should be well socialized and both the dog and especially newcomers need to know how to greet.
